Are security cameras in public space justice?

As you may know, putting a lot of security cameras in public spaces is not an uncommon story recently in advanced countries.
In Japan, some railway companies decided to put them in their train cars to prevent molestation. Most of people accepted this idea and they said "It must help for not only reducing molestation, but also reducing cutpurse and false accusation.
Meanwhile, there are over thirty million  security cameras which are installed in public spaces in the U.S especially, after 9.11. Over 71 percent of American people agree with this policy. Some states accept to put them in the fitting rooms and rest rooms.

I understand that it is helpful to improve the crime-arrest ratio but I don't agree with this policy.
Some people said that people who don't agree with this policy must have a hidden agenda.
However, I'd like to say "No thank you" because I have some concerns with this policy.

First of all, there are concerns about the violation of one's privacy. I don't like having my picture taken by security cameras.
Even for security reasons, I can't accept the idea of being monitored in every public space.
It's like the situation the movie "Minority report". A lot of cameras catch the lead character's face to judge who he is and give him  the accurate advertisements. It's a completely horrible thing.

Second, it is unclear about the rule that how to use and how to control the information that they will get from cameras.
I am concerned that once the police gets these information, they must misuse them.

Third, the biggest reason is that security cameras haven't proved to help the anticrime.
No one makes the crime in front of cameras. They must move to blind spot and trigger crime.
For example, The Tokyo metropolitan government has conducted to install security cameras in Kabuki-cho area to reduce the crime.
Then The crime rate decreased, but it increased in Ikebukuro area instead.
Further  more, even in England which has tons of cameras in their city area, the government finally announced that it didn't effect the declining for anticrime.

That is why I don't agree with putting a lot security cameras without deep thinking.
So what should we do to protect our security in our daily life?
I think government should investigate the true factor that causes the  problems and they should deal with them at first.
For example, trying to resolve crowded trains and increase the number of security officials to prevent molestation.
I think the idea of female-only car is one of the good solution.
The most important thing is that government and companies should provide the security and safety services and citizens should pay the cost.

In conclusion, I think installing tons of security cameras will deprive our freedom and we must get increasingly anxious about a surveillance society in the future. Besides there is no effect to prevent the crime at all.
Security cameras should be set up at the counter in banks, stores and each personal house only. I don't think it's a good idea to put them in public spaces.
