These are my opinions about Halloween in Japan. Especially, the biased report by Japanese media.
First, why does the Japanese media report only one side such as Halloween = Shibuya, young people ,horse play,trouble ? Is it just because easy to increase an access frequency?
Secondly, why do net work citizens slander the Halloween event just because of the secondary information? Why can’t they see it from another point of view like more long term perspective? Do they want to say complain about Halloween without thought about whether the secondary information is true or not?
Thirdly, I personally think that Japanese style Halloween is OK. We can arrange our own style and just enjoy it for what it is. It has already spread to children and various events for parents and children have increased recently and it’s not bad that young people enjoy it with spending a bit of money. It will help the economy.
Also, many people pointed out that young people don’t understand the original meaning of Halloween. Also, it’s too commercialized and it’s for children originally, but no one understands the meaning of origin in the U.S and it’s more commercialized compared to Japan. Furthermore, many adults enjoy dressing up in costumes. To see Japanese authentic festivals (Maturi) , no one knows the original meaning of it and they just join in to have fun. Of course, it’s also commercialized like Japanese Halloween.
Lastly, many people pointed out that Shibuya Halloween meeting caused the trash problem, but it’s the same situation as Japanese authentic festivals. Many adult enjoy dressing up wearing kimono and yukata. Sumidagawa fire works festival also had problems with clean up. I think it’s unfair that the media and net work citizens damp on Halloween. We have to follow the rule at any events anyways. Shibuya Halloween was a bit better because Shibuya district had a campaign with Kary Pamyu Pamyu where they distributed plastic garbage bags before Halloween started. However, it was true some people display bad manners. It’s essential to think the best way of dealing this issue.
I think my thoughts are among the minority, but I was anxious about the biased report by the Japanese media. So, I decided to write my opinion this time. Though,It’s just my personal opinion.

日本のハロウィンについて思うこと（特に報道の仕方）
１、なぜマスコミはハロウイン→渋谷→若者→バカ騒ぎ→トラブル的な一面しか取り上げないんだろう？それが一番アクセス稼げるから？
２、そしてなぜその二次情報だけでネット住民はハロウィンを悪者にするんだろうか？もうちょっと違う見方とか長期的な視点とかないんだろうか？ それが事実かどうかなんて関係なく若者に文句を言いたいだけ？
３、個人的には日本でもハロウィンいいと思う。日本流にアレンジして楽しめばいいと思うね。ちびっこ達にもすでに普及して親子で楽しむイベントも増えてるし、若者が元気にお金使って楽しんでるのは基本的に悪くない。ものすごい経済効果もあると思いますけどね。
４、本来の意味わかってないとか商業的とか本来は子供の為のものとか言う人いるけどアメリカでも本来の意味なんてわかってる人いないし日本以上に商業的だし大人だってコスプレして楽しんでるよ。日本のお祭りだって本来の意味とか考えて参加してる人なんていないしめっちゃ商業的やし。
５、トラブル起こしたりゴミ捨てたりするのは日本のお祭りも一緒。半被や浴衣も立派なコスプレだし隅田川花火大会のあとのゴミもひどい。ハロウィンだけ悪者にするのはアンフェア。マナーを守らなきゃいけないのはどんなイベントでも同じ。事前にきゃりーちゃんを使ってゴミ袋を無料で配って対策をしているだけ他のお祭りよりマシだと思いましたけどね。ただマナーがなってない人が多数いたのも事実です。今後の対策は必須ですね。
これは少数意見だと思うけどちょっとマスコミの報道の仕方が気になったので書いてみいた。あくまで個人的見解デス。
